Debby

Debby was born in December of 2007. She was born weighing 3.35 kg and she was 57 cm long. Her mother and father were considered to be healthy. Debby held her head up since the age of three months, rolled over at 7 months, sat at 11 months, and walked at 27 months. When she was about a year and a half she went home to live with her mother for a few months. She has had quite a few respiratory illnesses and it sounds as if she may need to have her tonsils out.  All of her tests for communicable diseases are negative. She was diagnosed with mild infantile CP with a question mark after that diagnosis and now they are saying she does not have CP so we aren’t really sure at this point. Debby is described as having an outgoing personality. She has a good attention span. She is progressing in her development. The report we received today says that she is walking and running and “does everything normally.”  If you would like more information on how to make this little blonde-haired cherub a part of your family, please contact Kids To Adopt by email at kidstoadopt@yahoo.com or by phone at 360-695-1704.

Tracee

Tracee is a sweet, easygoing baby who was born with a cleft palate. This has delayed her growth because it is difficult for her to eat. The cleft palate has also caused a delay in her speech development. Tracee has not had any surgery that we know of at this point to repair her palate. She will need to have the surgery soon so we are hoping to find her a family quickly. She likes to play with toys and interact with those around her. At the age of nine months, Tracee weighed 4.6 kilograms and was 59 cm long. Her head was 38.5 cm and her chest was 38 cm. She also has hip dysplasia. Married couples and single women may apply to adopt Tracee. Home Study ready families are preferred. Special Needs Fees Apply. All of her tests for communicable diseases are negative. We were told she does not have CP. She does have a bit of a crossed left eye and some optic nerve atrophy we believe in the same eye. Tialani has Asian features and is quite petite. This darling little girl sits, crawls and stands while holding onto something. She likes to play with toys. As of February she weighed 11.4 pounds. She is 63 cm long. Her head measures 39 cm and her chest measured 38.5 cm. She does have a diagnosis of hip dysplasia. This little guy is very small for his age and seems undernourished. We aren’t sure of the cause of this problem. Despite his small size, Ricky is walking and happily babbling. Lorraine is a very fair, blonde haired little girl who is four years old and has Treacher Collins Syndrome. She was born in the summer of 2006. She is very bright and inquisitive. Her caregivers says she smiles with a sense of understanding. Her ears and hearing are affected by this syndrome but she has a Baha implanted hearing device. This has improved her ability to hear and they doctors say she does not have nerve damage. She otherwise has normal development according to the psychologist. We believe she may have had a cleft palate which was repaired but this was not on her medical report. She is being placed as a special needs child. There is a $5,000 grant to go towards the cost of her adoption. The region she is in will only work with married couples.
