Careers in Adoption

Working in the field of international adoption is extremely rewarding and exciting. You are instrumental in finding families for children waiting in orphanages abroad and assisting families in every step of the adoption process. KTA is a small agency which is an advantage as you won’t get lost in the shuffle.  Through our agency, we work with international coordinators in many countries (see Adoption Programs). A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, or Human Services is preferred.  A degree in social work is a plus for most positions and required for other positions.  Washington State regulations require that all our employees pass criminal and abuse history checks.

Current Employment Opportunities

There are no job openings at this time.

Internships / Practicum Opportunities

If your area of study is in the field of social work, human services, or psychology at Portland State University, Washington State University Vancouver, Eastern Washington University Vancouver or Concordia University, and you are looking for a practicum site or internship placement, we can offer opportunities to both graduate and undergraduate students.  Please contact us or have your school’s program director telephone us at 360-695-1704. Because we are a small adoption agency, opportunities are limited so contact us early!

Volunteering At Kids To Adopt

There are always opportunities for volunteering.  There are a variety of tasks that need to be accomplished such as, helping with humanitarian aid to orphanages, fundraising, helping to coordinate hosting programs, office work, newsletters…and much more!  If you are interested in volunteering, please email us at:  info@kidstoadopt.org. For some tasks, volunteers may be required to obtain criminal background clearances.
