Kids To Adopt is always looking for adoption stories from our clients.  They are interesting, fun and compelling to those who are just starting to consider adoption.  If you have photographs or stories to submit, please contact us!  Please email them to: kidstoadopt@yahoo.com

Keep in mind that we don’t expect you to be a professional writer!  We’re just looking for your perspective on your adoption, whatever that may be.  You can write about your adoption journey, funny stories about your kid(s), inside info that might be helpful to newbies… just about anything is welcomed!  We are happy to make edits to your work if necessary.

Please submit stories in MSWord or rich text format.

Specifications for Photo Submission

When submitting photos, please be sure the subject is the primary image in the photo.  For example, it is difficult to use a photo where a child only takes up a small percentage of the photo and the rest of the photo is non-essential to the subject.  Quality of photos is important.  Please select photos that are clear, in focus, and balanced.  As with the written materials, you don’t have to be a professional!  Please do not submit copyrighted photos or stories unless YOU own the copyright and are allowing us permission to use / publish your work.

When sending us pictures, the files should be in JPG format and UNDER 1MB in size.

Granting KTA Permission to Use Your Photos/Stories

Before we can use any of your written material or photos, we will need a signed release form, which can be completed below electronically or downloaded and snail mailed here:  KTA_Release_Form

Prior to using any stories, written material or photos we will need this form completed. By typing your name in the appropriate area, you are agreeing to the terms of this release. Thank you!

I agree that Kids To Adopt may use such photographs and/or written material for any lawful purpose, including for example, such purposes as publicity, illustration, information resources, advertising, and Web content. I release them from any expectation of confidentiality for my/our minor children and myself/ourselves and attest that I am the parent or legal guardian of the children depicted in these photos and/or written material. I/we understand that there will be no financial compensation for the use of my/our photographs and/or written material.

I understand that I have the right to rescind this permission, in writing. KTA will remove aforementioned materials from its use within 30 days of receiving notice.

By signing below, I acknowledge my understanding of the above and grant my permission for use of the photographs(s) and/or written material.

When submitting this form, the current date and time along with your IP address and browser information are automatically included with the information you fill out below. This information is kept on file with your submitted release form.
